Archos.

Archos has some of the cheapest tablets on the menu right now. They have a mini tablet for under 100$ and other tablets that have a 250 gig HDD. Seems like a great deal right? It is, but android is still at 2.2 Froyo for most internet tablets, and most of the tablets still have a resistive screen, meaning you have to actually push down on the screen to get it to react. I've read some reviews saying the screen is not that bad, but not as good as the apple iPod touch and iPhone and the new nano. The Archos 43 internet tablet is closest to the iPod touch at roughly the same price (8 gigs for 199.99$) They share many of the same features like a camera and a built in speaker and microphone. As of right now I would go for the iPod touch for the style and the Apps, If you are a die hard android fan, and want to check out other Archos tablets, check out heir website http://www.archos.com/

  3. I was listening to NPR this morning about how people have hacked the color Nook to run one of the latest Android. It's around 200$ only. I would check that out if you're into a cheaper version of the Galaxy right now!
